Newborn Indian Passport Services

Complete the steps below on behalf of your newborn. You can save a partially filled form at any time with Save & Finish Later and come back to it within 4 days.

⚠️Warning:

Your online document submission is monitored and recorded, including the IP address used at the time of submission. Any false, misleading, fraudulent, abusive, or inappropriate submission may constitute a criminal offence under Parts 10.7 and 10.8 of the Commonwealth Criminal Code Act 1995 (Cth) and may be reported to relevant authorities.

If fresh passport for minor, mention father's passport number
Contact no of a person living at your Indian address
Provide their Adhar card or Passport first and Last page or lease agreement Or Electricity bill or Sales Contract or Gas bill or anything from Local govt/council/Panchayat that has full name and full address with PIN code on it.

Australian Address

Australian address - List of valid proofs (Upload any one)

  • Driver's License or Photo Id - Picture of physical copy only (Digital copy is not acceptable)
  • Electricity bill / Water bill / Gas bill
  • Rent agreement
  • Bank Statement is NOT acceptable
Any address proofs you provide should have the EXACT same address as the one you provide in the form.

Indian References

Provide details of two contactable references

  1. They should be living nearby your current Indian address (within approx. 20 km), not too far.
  2. Address of applicant, address of reference-1 and address of reference-2 (All 3 address) must be different.  (References living at same address are not acceptable.) However, if you are residing in a village area where house numbers are not allocated, the same address may be accepted.
  3. You must provide their full address including House No, Street, Area, City/Village, State and PIN Code.
  4. They can be your relatives such as Uncle, Aunty, Cousin or Friends/Neighbors who can vouch the identity.
  5. Immediate family members are NOT accepted, including:
  • Father / Mother
  • Brother / Sister
  • Spouse

PHOTOGRAPHS INSTRUCTIONS

Please click 3-4 new Photos of your child on phone & share.

Most Important:

  1. You are requested to take a new NATURAL photo using your mobile phone.(Do not send any old photos)
  2. Please let your child sleep on floor on white towel/blanket and take photo.
  3. Eyes should be open. Try to click photo when child is looking at camera.
  4. Make sure the face is straight & clearly visible. (Cloths should not cover any part of the face, no ribbons/cap on the head & we recommend holding their hands downwards)
  5. There should not be too much shadow / light on any one side of the face. Should be even lighting on the face.
  6. Make sure the resolution of the photo is not very low.

Please provide all documents you have received related to your visas - from your first entry in Australia till date, which may include:

  • Visa Application Acknowledgement (when you applied)
  • Visa Grant Letters
  • Visa Refusal Letters / Decision Records
  • Any further visa applications after refusal
  • ART (Administrative Review Tribunal) review documents
  • Bridging Visa Grant Letters

Must provide if applicable to you:

  • Any name change certificate
  • If you are changing your signature, please send photo of old and new signature.
Any additional documents you wish to provide in support of your application
Additional Comments or Special Instruction or circumstance for iVACS team to consider before finalizing your application.
